About Me
I have many imaginative ideas that come to me often, I am a dreamer who likes to stay grounded in Nature. My inspiration comes from the spiritual and also the natural. I believe in creating heaven on earth by the power of love working in us and through us. My paintings are inspired by the spirit and my hope is that each brushstroke brings a sense of peace, joy, love, freedom.
Our lives are all unique, yet we all share the same breath and spirit. I like to think of it as a Golden thread of Love that weaves through each of us. Love changes everything when we realize we are all connected. Life is such a gift and i believe that everyone deserves to experience the fullness of life.
I wanted everyone that partakes in owning a painting or print to feel like they are part of a love story and each person is needed uniquely as they are, together we create the grand masterpiece in the mystery of life. I incorporate a golden line in every painting which represents a golden thread life and love weaving through us. Its meant to give that person a sense of belonging and knowing that they are special and are part of being love as it all unfolds into Eternal Love.
The vibrancy of the colors are always alive even when a painting is complete. A painting is meant to speak to your heart and soul, bringing the spiritual into the material. Owning a painting weaves your life story into an expansive story of life. I make Art that is rooted in Gods Eternal Glory that never ends. A painting can be like a bright light that never burns out even in your darkest day. In moments of excitment, my paintings are meant to keep you running out your destiny. Sometimes we also just need to ground as we ascend on our journey, which is why i also create nature paintings.
Our heartbeat keeping us alive calls us to a love and truth that flows beyond as we rest in the present moment.
Biography
Danielle Ortega had a desire to be an Artist as a young child. She spent many years travelling and seaching for purpose. All her searching led her to finding God and then a spark of creativity ignited. She said she had to find the creator of life to have peace and contentment to be able to create art. Her words, “I only know how to love and create because God loved and created me first.”
Danielle currently lives in Shawnigan lake, Vancouver Island and spends the days in her studio working with a variety of painting mediums on canvas, always finishing with oils. She is continuously inspired by her visions and passionately paints them into reality. What makes Danielles style truly unique is her use of surreal expressionalism.
Her faith keeps her feet walking in an artistic journey to inspire and touch everyones heart in a unique way. She continues to create a space where others can go in their own mind and heart to find a sense of belonging that takes them to a heavenly place where Love has already conquered.
